The Romanian stock market benchmark – the BET Index – crossed the 20,000-point threshold for the first time on Tuesday, July 25, 2025, marking a major milestone in its recent surge. The BET traded above 20,000 points for most of the day but closed at 19.995,64 points.
The BET has gained about 7.5% in the last month, setting several new record highs on its path to 20,000 points.
